Royal Enfield Records Over 3 Lakh Dispatches in Q1 FY27

Royal Enfield Crosses 3 Lakh Sales

Royal Enfield dispatched a total of 3,01,174 motorcycles during the first quarter of FY2027, representing a healthy 32 percent increase compared to the 2,28,779 units recorded during the same period last year. This marks the second time the company has crossed the 3 lakh quarterly sales milestone after achieving 3,00,426 units during the October to December 2025 quarter.

The impressive performance demonstrates Royal Enfield’s consistent demand despite increasing competition in the premium motorcycle segment. The company continues to strengthen its market presence by offering motorcycles that appeal to both new buyers and loyal enthusiasts.

350cc Motorcycles Continue to Drive Sales

Royal Enfield’s popular 350cc motorcycles remained the biggest contributors to its overall sales performance. The Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350 together recorded dispatches of 2,80,136 units during the April to June 2026 period.

These four motorcycles accounted for nearly 85 percent of the entire 350cc motorcycle segment, which itself witnessed strong year-on-year growth. Their continued popularity highlights the brand’s ability to offer reliable, stylish, and practical motorcycles that appeal to a wide range of riders across India.

Royal Enfield Maintains Leadership Over Rivals

While Royal Enfield dominated the 350cc category, other manufacturers remained considerably behind in terms of sales. Bajaj Auto secured a small share of the segment, followed by Honda and TVS Motor, as Royal Enfield continued to enjoy a commanding market position.

The company’s strong brand value, extensive dealership network, and loyal customer base have helped it maintain a significant advantage over competitors. This leadership has allowed Royal Enfield to remain the benchmark in the mid-size motorcycle segment.

450cc Models Show Healthy Growth

Royal Enfield’s newer 450cc motorcycles also contributed positively during the first quarter of FY2027. The Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan 450 together recorded dispatches of 9,883 units, reflecting a 25 percent increase compared to the same quarter in the previous financial year.

These motorcycles captured nearly 59 percent of the 350cc to 500cc segment, showing that buyers are increasingly interested in premium adventure and roadster motorcycles. Their growing popularity also helps Royal Enfield expand beyond its traditional customer base.

Strong Presence in the 500cc to 800cc Segment

The company also remained the dominant player in the 500cc to 800cc motorcycle category. Royal Enfield dispatched 11,155 motorcycles in this segment during the April to June 2026 quarter, maintaining an overwhelming market presence despite a slight year-on-year decline in volumes.

Even with lower sales compared to last year, the company continued to account for approximately 97 percent of the category. This clearly reflects Royal Enfield’s unmatched position in India’s larger-capacity motorcycle market.

Company Remains on Track for Another Record Year

Royal Enfield’s impressive start to FY2027 indicates that the company could achieve another record-breaking financial year if current demand continues. Annual domestic dispatches are expected to cross 12 lakh units, surpassing the previous record of 11,07,343 motorcycles achieved during FY2026.

Royal Enfield Crosses 3 Lakh Sales

Royal Enfield has once again demonstrated its dominance in India’s premium motorcycle market by crossing the 3 lakh quarterly sales milestone for the second time. The continued success of its 350cc motorcycles, combined with the growing popularity of the 450cc lineup, has played a key role in delivering another outstanding quarter.

With strong customer demand, expanding product offerings, and several new motorcycles under development, Royal Enfield appears well-positioned to maintain its leadership in the coming months. If the current momentum continues, FY2027 could become another record-breaking year for the brand.
