Upcoming Adventure Bikes India

Hero MotoCorp has been testing the upcoming Xpulse 420 for more than a year, with prototypes spotted in Rajasthan, Ladakh, and even Europe. The new motorcycle is expected to become Hero’s flagship adventure tourer, sitting above the recently introduced Xpulse 210 in the company’s lineup.

The motorcycle is likely to feature a newly developed 421cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing around 40 hp and 40 Nm of torque. It is expected to come with a six-speed gearbox, assist and slipper clutch, long-travel suspension, USD front forks, wire-spoke wheels, TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, ride modes, dual-channel switchable ABS, LED lighting, and several touring-focused accessories.

Bajaj Is Developing Its First In-House Adventure Motorcycle

Bajaj Auto is also preparing to enter the adventure touring segment with its first adventure motorcycle under the Bajaj brand. Test prototypes have been spotted multiple times, indicating that development is progressing steadily ahead of its official debut.

Unlike the KTM Adventure motorcycles that Bajaj manufactures through its partnership with KTM, this upcoming model will feature its own design language and engineering. Reports suggest that it could be powered by a 250cc engine, making it an affordable dual-purpose motorcycle designed for both daily commuting and weekend adventures.

TVS Norton Atlas Will Target the Premium Adventure Segment

TVS Motor Company is working on the Norton Atlas, a premium middleweight adventure motorcycle that will be launched under the iconic Norton brand. While it is being developed primarily for international markets, India is also expected to receive the motorcycle at a later stage.

The Norton Atlas will use a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing around 69 bhp and 57.5 Nm of torque. It is also expected to feature an 8-inch TFT touchscreen, fully adjustable KYB suspension, Bosch 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS, multiple riding modes, connected technology, and all-LED lighting. A road-focused Atlas GT variant is also expected to join the lineup.

Adventure Bike Segment Is Growing Rapidly in India

The Indian adventure motorcycle market has expanded significantly over the past few years, with more riders choosing motorcycles that can comfortably handle long-distance touring as well as off-road conditions. This growing demand has encouraged manufacturers to introduce products across different engine capacities and price segments.

Upcoming Adventure Bikes India

With Hero, Bajaj, and TVS preparing new adventure motorcycles, buyers will soon have more options than ever before. Whether you’re looking for an entry-level touring bike or a premium middleweight adventure machine, the upcoming launches are expected to offer something for every type of rider.
