The motorcycle added 21,967 units over the previous year and accounted for nearly 29% of total sales among the top ten best-selling two-wheelers. Its reputation for reliability, fuel efficiency, and affordable ownership continues to make it the preferred choice for millions of Indian buyers.

Honda Activa and Shine Maintain Strong Momentum

Honda Activa comfortably held the second position after selling 2,18,932 units in June 2026. Compared to 1,83,265 units sold during June 2025, the scooter registered an impressive 19.46% growth, adding more than 35,000 units in annual sales.

Honda Shine completed the top three by recording 1,67,572 units, reflecting a 17% year-on-year increase over the previous year’s performance. Its combination of refined performance, excellent mileage, and dependable engineering continues to attract daily commuters across the country.

TVS Jupiter Continues to Impress Buyers

TVS Jupiter remained one of India’s most popular scooters by securing the fourth position in the sales rankings. The scooter achieved domestic sales of 1,36,805 units, compared to 1,07,980 units in June 2025, resulting in an impressive 26.69% annual growth.

The consistent rise in Jupiter’s popularity reflects the increasing demand for comfortable family scooters with practical features and efficient engines. Its strong sales performance has helped TVS strengthen its position in the competitive scooter segment.

Bajaj Pulsar Faces Sales Decline

The Bajaj Pulsar series secured the fifth spot in the rankings but experienced a decline compared to the previous year. Sales dropped to 77,406 units from 88,452 units, representing a 12.49% decrease in domestic dispatches.

Despite the decline, the Pulsar range remains one of India’s most recognizable motorcycle brands. Its sporty styling and performance continue to attract enthusiasts, although growing competition has affected its overall sales momentum.

Suzuki Access and TVS Apache Deliver Positive Growth

Suzuki Access secured the sixth position after recording 63,121 units, improving from 51,555 units sold during the same month last year. The popular scooter registered a healthy 22.43% growth, highlighting its continued appeal among urban commuters.

TVS Apache also delivered another strong performance by selling 55,382 units, compared to 41,386 units in June 2025. With an impressive 33.82% year-on-year growth, the Apache series continues to strengthen its position in India’s sporty commuter motorcycle segment.

TVS XL100 and iQube Show Remarkable Improvement

TVS XL100 delivered one of its strongest performances in recent months by recording 50,155 units, compared to 33,349 units a year earlier. The trusted moped achieved an impressive 50.39% growth, reflecting its continued demand in rural and commercial markets.

The biggest surprise of the month was the TVS iQube, which emerged as the fastest-growing model among the top ten. Sales jumped from 14,244 units to 47,331 units, representing an extraordinary 232.29% year-on-year growth, highlighting the rapid adoption of electric scooters across India.

Hero HF Deluxe Records the Sharpest Decline

Hero HF Deluxe completed the list of the top ten best-selling two-wheelers in June 2026. However, the commuter motorcycle witnessed the biggest decline among all leading models, with sales falling to 44,292 units from 1,00,878 units in June 2025.

The sharp drop of more than 56,000 units resulted in a 56.09% decline, making it the weakest performer among the country’s top-selling two-wheelers. Increased competition in the entry-level commuter segment appears to have impacted its overall performance.
