Thar OG Retains Its Familiar Starting Price

New Platform Brings Major Mechanical Changes

The 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine has also been upgraded. It now produces around 160 hp and 330 Nm, compared with 150 hp previously. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel continues to make approximately 117 hp and 300 Nm, allowing Mahindra to retain the Rs. 10.32 lakh starting price for the entry-level diesel version.
ZXT Takes Equipment To Another Level
At the top of the updated Thar OG range, the ZXT variant brings a considerably more extensive equipment list. It gets six airbags, front and rear disc brakes, front parking sensors and wireless charging. The SUV also rides on larger 19-inch alloy wheels, while LED headlamps with C-shaped DRLs and LED fog lamps with a cornering function add to its exterior equipment.
Inside, the ZXT receives leatherette upholstery, while Frequency Dependent Damping adds another mechanical upgrade. A rear camera and tyre-pressure monitoring system are also included, although these features were already available on the outgoing LXT. Overall, the ZXT is positioned as the most feature-rich version of the updated three-door Thar.
Thar OG Gets A Stronger Overall Package
